Annual Conference 2009
This year's ISCP Annual Conference marked the 26th year of the Society. The conference was offically opened by Emily Logan, Ombudsmand for Children. The Conference hosted by the ISCP Eastern Branch and took place at the Crowne Plaza Northwood Hotel in Santry, Dublin. The event was held on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of November. For the fourth year in succession the ISCP Annual Conference was held in conjunction with CSP, Northern Ireland and CSP Congress Delegates received €50.00 off the delegate price of the ISCP Annual Conference.

The Research and Innovation Committee awarded several prizes at the 2009 26th ISCP Annual Conference.


Best Poster
The best poster was "Comparison of Physical Activity in Adults with Cystic Fibrosis in comparison with age matched healthy controls" By Carmel O'Farrell.

Oral Presentations
The three oral presentation prizes went to:

Many thanks to all those who took the time to submit Abstracts for the 2009 Conference.

All Abstracts submissions for this year's Conference have now completed the review process and authors should have received an e-mail informing them of the decision. 

The deadline for resubmitting finalised, correctly formatted, revised abstracts was Friday 21st August. 

The quality and quantity of the Abstracts was extremely high this year and we had excellent Oral and Poster presentations at this year's Conference in November.
