From October 20th 2007, if you are an EU or EEA national you may provide physiotherapy services on a temporary or occasional basis in Ireland, once you are legally established as a physiotherapist in your home member state.
The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is the designated authority acting with approval of the Minister for Health and Children for the recognition of physiotherapy qualifications in Ireland (S.I. 166/2008, S.I.139/2008).
Prior to providing a temporary service, applicants must first make a declaration to the ISCP. This application must be accompanied by a number of documents. For further information on eligibility and how to make a declaration refer to and download the following links:
