New Perspectives in Physiotherapy - Debating the Present and the Future

This year's ISCP Annual Conference marks the 27th year of the Society.

This year the Conference is being hosted by the ISCP Mid Western Branch and will take place in The Strand Hotel in Limerick.

The event will be held on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th of November. For the fifth year in succession the ISCP Annual Conference will be held in conjunction with CSP, Northern Ireland.

Anne Shumway-Cook
Emeritus Professor at the University of Washington. Dr. Shumway-Cook's research interests include mechanisms underlying balance and mobility problems in geriatric and neurologic populations, and clinical methods for assessing and treating imbalance.

Jill Cook
Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal health, Deakin University, Australia. Professor Cook's research areas include sports medicine and tendon injury with a particular interest in risk factors for tendon injury and the tendon in growth and development.

Sally Singh
Professor and Director of Rehabilitation Applied Research Group, Coventry University with an established research track record around pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation.

Mike Hurley
Professor at the School of Biomedical & Health Sciences at King's College London. Professor Hurley's research focuses on muscle dysfunction and the efficacy of physiotherapy in patients with degenerative joint conditions.

Cesar Fernandez-de-las-Penas
Professor of Physical Therapy at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain. His research interests relate to cervicogenic pain and myofascial pain.
