The ISCP is currently reviewing its staff roles and functions and wishes to recruit a Communications Assistant on a full –time six months fixed term contract while this review is ongoing.
This position offers candidates the opportunity to gain invaluable work experience in a busy member organisation in the health sector, thereby increasing their employability in the Communications area. The position will offer candidates to put into practice skills learnt during training and/or education, in a workplace setting, and to enhance those skills, understand the workplace environment and context.
This role will assist the ISCP to meet its objective to ensure that effective communications underpin the delivery of the Society’s Strategic Plan by:
• Tailoring communications methods to best promote the profession and meet members’ needs.
• Promoting awareness of membership benefits to all physiotherapists
• Demonstrating the value of Physiotherapy to service users, providers and funders of physiotherapy services.
