2015 marked the ISCP’s 3rd year of sponsorship of the Women’s Mini Marathon. The society’s involvement with the race was met with positive feedback from participants, organisers, and vendors alike. The society was represented both before and at the event by 23 student and Chartered Physiotherapist volunteers.

The Society has become aware that many private practitioners have, in recent days, received letters from the Data Protection Commissioner. The Society endorses the principle of data protection and understands that chartered physiotherapists in the private sector* must register with the Office of the Data Commissioner. If you have not received a letter yet or you have not registered, it is advisable that you register. This can be done on line at www.dataprotection.ie

The ISCP are delighted to be involved in the Dublin Marathon once again this year which takes place on Monday 28th October 2014. The event is preceded by the Race Expo which takes place on the 26th and 27th October.

The ISCP held a Briefing Meeting on Tuesday 9th July 2014 in Buswells Hotel for TD's and Senators.
This meeting was to discuss the proposed amendment to the Taxes Consolidation Act (1997) - self referral to physiotherapists.
