Role of the Education & Professional Development Committee

 

The Education &Professional Development Committee is one of the six standing committees of the ISCP.  Its role is to advise and report to the Board on all matters concerned with education, including the following:

 

  • The educational requirements and objectives of the Society
  • The standards of eligibility for membership of the Society
  • The recognition of pre-registration courses of study and the admission of students to such courses
  • The establishment of guidelines for recognition and validation of postgraduate courses relevant to the profession
  • The Continuing Professional Development requirements and objectives of the Society

 

Education and Research Officer

 

The Education and Research Officer is a member of the Board and links with the Education & Professional Development and Research & Innovation Committees. This Officer has responsibility for all matters relating to Education and Research
