The purpose of this three day training is to review and
update hands-on skills and best practices related to 24hour
postural care.Describe the hands-on assessment related to 24-Hour Postural Care in sitting and supine using a standardised approach


Understand the relationship between an individual’s sleep position and their seated alignment


Document findings consistently using standardized language and best practices 

Day 2 and Day 3 are completely hands on with limited spaces available (14 participants max) due to the practical nature of these workshops.

During these hands-on workshop days, participants
will apply the knowledge and skills presented in Day 1's didactic session by completing the full comprehensive hands-on assessment on each other in sitting and supine using a standardised approach.


Aspects of the assessment that will be covered include the Life Box, Pelvic orientation and the Sitting Footprint in sitting and supine as well as the complete spinal, hip, knee and ankle mobility assessment in supine. Key standardised linear and angular body measurements related to seating
will be covered on Day 3.


All successful registrants will come prepared to participate and practice each skill set.Comfortable clothing (jeans are not appropriate) as well as a yoga/exercise mat or portable
massage table is recommended to participate.

 

 €175 per person (Reduced from € 200) for didactic session day 1 that  includes course materials ,  lunch, tea/coffee 

 €550 per person for 3 days (Including 2 days practical session , lunch, tea/coffee)
