Presenter Profile: Wemi is A Physiotherapist , Member Of Irish Society Of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), CORU Registered And Owner Of PelviCore & More Physiotherapy. She was Born In Dublin, Trained In America, Returned To Ireland In 2005 And Has lived In Dunboyne Since 2009.
She Graduated From New York Institute Of Technology With A BSc In Physical Therapy In 2000 And A MSc In Physical Therapy In 2001. She Has Extensive Experience In Young Adult, Adult And Care Of The Elderly Rehab And Physiotherapy For Neurological And Musculoskeletal Conditions. In 2012, She Began Studying And Training In The Management Of Urinary Incontinence, Bowel Dysfunction, Pelvic Pain And Post-natal Rehab. She set Up And Solely Ran The Pelvic Floor & Continence Clinic In St. Mary’s Day Hospital, Phoenix Park For 6 Years. This Included The Primary Care Area Of North West Dublin. During This Time Her passion Grew As Did The Awareness Of The Need For A Dedicated Service In Pelvic Health Conditions.
Wemi Has Completed Levels 1 & 2 Of APPI Pilates And She Is A Fitback & Bumps Instructor. She Currently Works Part Time In Beaumont Hospital As A Senior Physiotherapist.
Skill, Patience, And Excellence Are What Wemi Brings To Her Practice. She Is Passionate About pelvic Floor Recovery and Treating Urinary Incontinence Especially In The Elderly Population.
