This course is open to physiotherapists and OTs from HSE and ISCP members
Learning Outcomes:
A unique feature of the LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG is how all three disciplines (PT, OTand SLP) focus on a singular target of increased amplitude (e.g. louder speech, larger movements) while addressing the sensory-motor mismatch in PD. Retraining a person with PD’s perception of what normal loudness and movement feels like is key to achieving lasting improvements in communication and movement in daily life.
LSVT consists of a blended learning approach of pre-recorded online modules and 2 days live practical sessions.
Pre-Assessment: 50 multiple choice questions, this is not a graded exam. It is only meant to prime you for learning.
