This webinar workshop will offer an overview of psychologically informed physiotherapy. It will explore what it is, how physios can apply this approach by using skills they have already learned in undergraduate training, as well as considering some of the misunderstandings associated with the term. This webinar is open to all but will be particularly useful for those working in an MSK or Pain setting.

Learning outcomes/objectives:

  • Explore the concept Psychologically Informed Practice
  • Review the origins/development of psychological models and how they are applied in pain management
  • Consider strategies physiotherapists can use to work using a psychologically informed approach.
