Presenter Details | Ciara Gleeson graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1998 with a BSc Physiotherapy. She has worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Medical Respiratory since 2006 and is based in the multidisciplinary Respiratory Assessment Unit at St. James’s Hospital. She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics (2007) and a Masters in Physiotherapy (2009) both from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Leadership and Quality in Healthcare (2020) from RCPI. She was awarded a Fellowship from Evidence Synthesis Ireland in 2019 to work on a Cochrane review entitled “Pulmonary rehabilitation for adults with asthma” which was published in 2022. |

This online webinar will review the evidence for pulmonary rehabilitation in adults with asthma. Ciara will provide guidance on how attendees can better understand the methodology and results of a Cochrane systematic review. Ciara will also present on the results of a recently published Cochrane systematic review which she co-authored entitled “Pulmonary Rehabilitation in adults with asthma”.
