Presenter Details Fiona Healy
 
Women’s health physiotherapist since 2008 and worked as Senior Physiotherapist in large maternity hospital for 7 years. Fiona has moved back to her native Co. Kerry now works in private practice in Kerry Physiotherapy in Killarney, focusing on pregnancy, postnatal right through to menopause.
She runs the online Postnatal classes with the Bump Room and leads education webinars on all aspects of postnatal health for women and health professionals.
She completed a post graduate certificate through the University of Bradford: Continence for Physiotherapists and in 2012, she completed Masters through University College Cork. Her research focused on obstetric anal sphincter injuries.
Fiona is a busy mum trying to find the balance between raising two beautiful girls, while working and keeping herself strong and healthy. She realises how truly exhausting and challenging it is to feel fit and strong after having a baby and wants to support women to be able to do it because it’s so important.

  • Webinars on special populations- we add all our webinars from our live webinar here which include:
  • Managing pelvic organ prolapse in a class setting (1.5 hours).
  • Beyond the core and floor: A whole body approach to return to running postnatal (2hours).
  • Managing diastasis recti with exercise (1.5hours).
  • Exercises – Access to 2 postnatal exercise courses. One for women currently attending a physiotherapist and one general return to exercise course (Over 14 hours of exercise content).
  • 4th Trimester exercise & education videos.
  • How to recognise PND & refer on.
  • Resources – practical resources for both professionals & postnatal women.
