The Mulligan Concept is a system of pain free-joint mobilisations to empower the patient in their recovery from musculoskeletal disorders. Founded by Brian Mulligan, the Mulligan Concept is not your standard manual therapy. It utilises ‘Mobilisation with Movement’ in weight-bearing positions and allows the therapist and patient to forge a therapeutic union. The concept encourages immediate results through symptom modification of painful or stiff movement. The Part B, lower quarter course covers the lumbar spine, sacroiliac joint and the lower extremity. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions. This gives participants a thorough and in dept knowledge of the mobilisation with movement approach.
