Margaret Hanlon is the founding partner of CityPhysio. She qualified from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc. (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 1991. She then worked in the U.S.A. and subsequently attended University College London, gaining a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, specialising in Exercise and Manipulative Therapy, in 1994. She has worked solely in the area of musculo-skeletal physiotherapy, both in hospitals and in private practice. She provides consultancy services dealing with complex musculoskeletal problems at her practice in Lucan and as an expert witness. Margaret is chairperson of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice and has served on the board of the ISCP in the role of Vice President.

Margaret is the chairperson of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice Margaret was the Vice President of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists from 2010 -2014 She lectured on Masters programmes physiotherapy & sports medicine at Trinity College Dublin & University College Dublin and has taught various post-graduate education courses for physiotherapists working in the area of musculo-skeletal medicine.

Margaret has been involved in an ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists) working research party into the assessment and treatment of whiplash-associated disorders in Ireland, and has presented a paper on this topic at the World Congress of Physiotherapy in Barcelona in 2003. She is an expert witness for the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and specialises in the treatment of complex musculoskeletal problems.
