Description | This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality educational experience for physiotherapy students. Chevron College are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer to develop and deliver modules for a new BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy programme in Ireland. Starting in September 2025, the 3-year BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy degree is a response to growing physiotherapy demands and recruitment challenges in Ireland and is an affiliative degree with the University of East London *subject to validation. Chevron College has a vision to educate highly-skilled physiotherapists who will consistently provide critically-appraised, evidence-informed, and compassionate care to patients in diverse health environments. Through their teaching and mentorship, successful applicants will facilitate students to become high-quality critical thinkers who will be an asset to the Irish health service in their future careers. Both Full Time and Part Time options are available.
CRITERIA FOR SHORT LISTING Essential Requirements: a. BSc. (Hons) Physiotherapy primary degree (second class or higher) b. Relevant Level 9 postgraduate qualification Note: applications will be considered from those within 12 months of completion of a Level 9 postgraduate qualification c. 3 years postgraduate clinical work d. Teaching experience e. Registered with CORU as a Physiotherapist f. Garda vetted Desirable Requirements: a. Experience of undertaking student assessment and facilitating learning in Higher Education Context is strongly preferred b. A Level 10 Doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
