Job Purpose:

To provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, evaluate and implement individualised treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. To treat a range of different clients, the majority of which have a neurological diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment and Treatment:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical condition, limitations, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment interventions as necessary, and evaluate outcomes to ensure effective rehabilitation.
  1. Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and develop integrated treatment plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and consultations to discuss patient progress, goals, and discharge planning.


  1. Patient Education & Empowerment
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Provide guidance on exercises, techniques, and preventive measures to promote recovery, independence, and overall well-being.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  •  Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Prepare timely reports, statistics, or documentation as required by No Barriers Foundation regulatory bodies, or funding agencies.
  1. Professional Development:
  • Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and trends in physiotherapy through continuing education, workshops, seminars, and professional networks.
  • Comply with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements governing physiotherapy practice.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current registration and in good standing with the relevant professional regulatory body, CORU registered and preferably ISCP registered
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist.
  • Post graduate clinical experience in neurological physiotherapy is desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency in using physiotherapy equipment, modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

Salary and Benefits:
