Chartered Physiotherapist

We are looking for an ambitious Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our growing physiotherapy practice at Medfit Healthcare.

This is a full time role and the successful candidate will be based primarily in our rehabilitation clinic in Blackrock Co. Dublin. 

The working week is shift related and will cover hours from 7am or 7pm with potential for Saturday clinics. There may also be an opportunity to do sports team cover if so desired.

The caseload is predominantly musculoskeletal with an emphasis on Spinal/Orthopedic/MSK and complex pain rehabilitation. We have the joy of having a full gym suite and a team of Exercise Physiologists who help to deliver and prescribe the highest quality of rehabilitation in Ireland. 

We have achieved a reputation for clinical excellence in occupational rehabilitation alongside disease or significant illness rehabilitation and the caseload will reflect this. We have developed close relationships with GPs, Orthopedic Consultants, Sports Physicians and some local Sports teams across the county as well as we are the only suppliers of Occupational rehabilitation in Ireland and receive a wide variety of referrals as a result. 

We are in the process of revamping our clinical areas and adding some cutting edge equipment such as the VALD systems. We already have the highly sought DAVID spinal system and the Milon circuit.  Who/What we are looking for:

• An industrious candidate with an engaging personality.
• An ability to work independently. 
• Has at least 2 years postgraduate experience.
• An experience of incorporating evidence based practice into clinical work.
• Has excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A background in S & C/Rehab is an advantage.
• An interest in occupational rehabilitation would be highly desirable.
• Be CORU registered and have professional indemnity insurance.

 Salary - 

Remuneration will be decided based on experience but this will be a salaried position.
