Portmarnock Physiotherapy & Pilates is a well-established, chartered physiotherapy clinic based in the heart of Portmarnock. We are excited to welcome a dynamic part-time physiotherapist to our growing team at our newly refurbished, purpose-built clinic. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, personalised patient care, with the optional opportunity to be involved in clinical Pilates classes—no prior Pilates qualifications required.
We are seeking someone to work approximately 18–20 hours per week, with flexibility to offer more or fewer hours for the right candidate. We also welcome informal enquiries to discuss the role, working hours, or any other details.
About Us
- Quality Over Quantity: We offer 45-minute appointment slots, allowing our physiotherapists to maintain a smaller overall caseload. This ensures you have the time and headspace to deliver truly personalised, high-quality care to every patient.
- Commitment to Development: Regular in-service training, clinical supervision, and a strong emphasis on continuous professional development.
- Modern Facilities: Two private treatment rooms and a fully equipped Pilates studio and gym with Reformers.
- Strong Referral Network: Established relationships with local GPs and consultants.
- Diverse Caseload: MSK, sports injuries, paediatrics, and pre/post-operative rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a diverse caseload using evidence-based practice.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Optional involvement in leading clinical Pilates classes (training and support provided).
- Engage in ongoing learning through regular supervision and CPD activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
- Registration: ISCP and CORU registered.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
- Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and time management.
- Attributes: Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to patient-centred care.
Pilates qualifications are an advantage but not required.
What We Offer
- Very competitive base salary aligned with HSE payscales, dependent on experience.
- Additional performance bonuses.
- 3% employer pension contribution.
- Regular in-service training, supervision, and bursaries for external CPD courses.
- Flexibility with shifts and holiday arrangements.
- Convenient on-street parking near the clinic.
