Description | Chartered Physiotherapist required for a busy Private Practice in Roscommon due to its ongoing expansion. Role will be mainly clinic based with the opportunity to work with teams also available. ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfil the role of a chartered physiotherapists in the prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of all injuries. Deliver high quality, effective clinical records using the chosen database. Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes. Provide pitch-side physiotherapist cover Assist in the development and delivery of evidence-based protocols for all areas physiotherapy. To keep up to date with clinical, technical and scientific innovations, Attending courses and meetings as required to maintain the highest level of client care. Meet the standards and code of conducts set by the ISCP and CORU To demonstrate and deliver expert assessment and diagnostic skills ensuring individualised and relevant treatment plans are created for each individual client.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING ESSENTIAL BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy Member of ISCP & CORU membership
DESIRABLE MSc in Physiotherapy/ Sport Medicine PgC in Sports Medicine or Physio related topic
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED ESSENTIAL Experience in design and implementation of Return to Play protocols Experience in working well in a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of medical services. A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience Experience of using data management systems to ensure the secure and efficient storage of monitoring and evaluation data. An adept communicator, able to use a range of styles to support and influence and able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries in a discreet and sensitive manner. A professional, flexible approach to working hours, with a high degree of resilience and an ability to proactively manage personal wellbeing. Strong IT skills and a diligent and dedicated approach to recording all relevant data.
