Physiotherapists working with people with MS (Location: Galway and or online)

Job Type Part Time


Part or Full time basic grade or senior grade depending on experience.




  1. Candidates must provide evidence of registration on the CORU Physiotherapy register
  2. Candidates should have minimum two years post qualification experience in physiotherapy with a minimum of 6 months of neurology experience.




  1. Candidates will be client focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Proficient IT skills.
  4. Have use of own car and possess a full clean driver’s license.
  5. Possess and understanding and knowledge of the ethos and operation of MS Ireland.
  6. Ability to demonstrate respect and empathy for clients and their carers and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  7. Ability to work on one’s own initiative, set goals and implement programmes to achieve set targets.
  8. Working knowledge of person-centred care and case management systems.

Founded in 1961, MS Ireland is the national organization providing information, vital services and support to people living with Multiple Sclerosis.  Our services include, Regional Community Worker programmes, physiotherapy, symptom management courses, newly diagnosed sessions, and the MS Information Line.  We also provide a state-of-the-art respite center for people living with MS in Rathgar Dublin 8.
