In the position of Senior Physiotherapist - Acute Medical/Geriatric Care while carrying a clinical case load, the role will be responsible for patient assessment along with development and implementation of best practice treatment plans. Other aspects of the role are (but not limited to):

· Aid in the development of outpatient services in line with the post

· Be responsible for patient centred assessment, development and implementation of individualised treatment plans

· Act as a mentor for Physiotherapy colleagues

· Demonstrate leadership and advice as required on research methodology

· Lead in setting clinical standards using evidence based practice

To be considered for this role you need: 

- A qualification recognised by the Registration Board at CORU

- Post graduate courses relevant to Acute Medical care in Physiotherapy

- Display evidence of reflective practice, in-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained

- At least 3 years clinical experience working with the adult population in an acute hospital setting
