Who we are
CPOHE are a clinical interest group of the ISCP who have a special interest in Occupational Health and Ergonomics
What we do
Most of our members are working in physiotherapy roles related to workplace Health and Wellbeing. The main areas we are working in are:
- Ergonomic assessment and solutions to a wide range of industries
- Manual Handling risk assessments
- Manual and Patient Handling training
- VDU/DSE risk assessments
- Physiotherapy treatment for work-related musculoskeletal issues
- Work conditioning / work capacity evaluation
- Research and Education in Ergonomics and Patient Handling
Our members also work on National and International committees to develop best practice standards in this area
