Job Description

 Newpark Care Centre are looking to recruit a Chartered Physiotherapist to provide a wide range of services to our residents. We provide long term, respite and convalescence care. Roles/ Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for assessment, development and implementation of individualised treatment plans that are resident centered and in line with best practice
  • To deliver a quality, integrated, patient focused physiotherapy service to our residents
  • Formulate treatment plans and liaise and work effectively with other members of the multi- disciplinary team.
  • Ensure effective and safe discharge plans and support safe transition home for respite and convalescence residents
  • Undertake any other duties as appropriate as directed by the Director of Nursing
  • Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills with staff, residents and their families


  • Candidates must have experience of working in care of the older person and disabilities
  • Degree in Physiotherapy accredited to the Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
  • Registered for membership to the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
  • Experience of working in Irish Healthcare system
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Familiar with statutory body's regulations and policies
