This Reformer Clinical Pilates Teacher Training course aims to provide the knowledge to participants required to provide prescriptive exercise through Clinical Pilates for individuals or a group setting. This course aims to ensure each participant gains a deep understanding of how to safely and effectively use the Reformer Pilates Machine and an in-depth knowledge of the teaching principles needed to deliver Clinical Reformer Pilates to the general public.
This course is designed to provide Clinical Pilates that considers up to date evidence on exercise science, blending traditional Pilates methods with current research.
Participants will have a pre-requisite to be qualified or studying a health care profession or strength and conditioning coach or exercise physiologist. Therefore, upon entering this course, participants are expected to have a pre-existing education in anatomy and physiology, injury and rehabilitation, exercise prescription and exercise classes.
