Débora is a Specialist Physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience, supported by a strong academic and clinical background, complemented by multiple academic scholarships.
She holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of São Paulo, the highest-ranked university in Latin America, followed by a specialisation in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Hospital das Clínicas (HC-FMUSP), a leading orthopaedic hospital and a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence.
She further advanced her expertise through a highly competitive postgraduate residency in Urgency and Emergency Care at the Federal University of São Paulo, completing over 5,700 hours of intensive clinical training across emergency, ICU and specialised units, including the renowned Heart Institute (InCor).
Débora has extensive experience in high-complexity hospital environments, including a key role at Rede D’Or São Luiz, one of Brazil’s leading private healthcare networks. She held full responsibility for orthopaedic care across the hospital (370+ beds), coordinating patient management across emergency, ICU and multiple specialties, ensuring high standards of rehabilitation and clinical outcomes.
She also contributed to hospital development during the COVID-19 pandemic in the public sector, supporting ICU expansion, protocol implementation and team training.
In addition, she has led multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes in private clinics and has extensive experience in home-based physiotherapy.
Based in Dublin, where she has been practicing as a Specialist Physiotherapist, she delivers high-quality, evidence-based care across clinic and home visits, with a strong emphasis on optimal outcomes and patient-centred rehabilitation.
