Gay treats a wide range of painful conditions in particular neck and back pain, stiff shoulders, knees and aching feet. This also includes Sports injuries and arthritis. Many people attend following orthopaedic surgery, especially shoulder, knee and hip surgery.
Her expertise is backed up by many years working in her own clinic and in Croom Hospital, where she was the Senior Physiotherapist.
Gay had the honour of being President of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists 2018-2022, which is the professional body for Chartered Physiotherapists in Ireland. The Society directs and protects the passage of the profession in healthcare.
In her clinic, Gay ensures patients are thoroughly assessed and likes to use hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, and Dry Needling, to ease pain and restore movement. Restoring people to an active life is very important, and Gay uses gradual exercise to encouraged this.
