Part-Time Chartered Physiotherapist – MSK Rehabilitation

Elite Injury Clinic, Kilkenny is seeking a motivated Chartered Physiotherapist to join our growing private practice on a part-time basis.

The role is primarily focused on musculoskeletal and sports injury rehabilitation and would suit a Physiotherapist with approximately 1–2 years of post-qualification MSK experience who is confident working independently while also enjoying a collaborative clinical environment.

The Role

Manage a varied MSK caseload including back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee and lower-limb conditions.

Sports injury and orthopaedic/post-operative rehabilitation.

Deliver individualised exercise-based rehabilitation and return-to-activity programmes.

Provide follow-up rehabilitation within a collaborative shared-care model.

Review assessment findings and independently adapt rehabilitation plans according to your own clinical judgement.

Monitor patient progress and perform appropriate reassessments.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Work collaboratively with the clinic owner to ensure continuity of patient care.

Provide pre-arranged clinical cover during periods of annual leave or professional training.

Essential Requirements

BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy.

Current CORU registration.

Chartered Physiotherapist / MISCP membership.

Approximately one year or more of post-qualification clinical experience.

MSK rehabilitation experience.

Strong clinical reasoning and exercise prescription skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently in a private practice environment.

Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

Desirable Experience or interest in sports rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, return-to-sport and strength & conditioning principles.
