Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy care, with a particular focus on Pilates-based rehabilitation across our clinics in South Dublin. Clinical Pilates Training will be provided as part of the induction for this role.

This role will involve both clinical and managerial duties, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of physiotherapists.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert physiotherapy care to patients, with a particular focus on Pilates-based rehabilitation
  • Assess and diagnose patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide expert clinical advice to patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, making adjustments as necessary
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure patient confidentiality is maintained
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead and manage a team of physiotherapists, providing guidance, support, and clinical supervision
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care
  • Participate in the development and delivery of training and educational programs for physiotherapists and pilates instructors
  • Ensure that high standards of patient care are maintained at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with CORU
  • Proven experience as a senior physiotherapist
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of physiotherapists
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Experience in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable:

  • Pilates training or certification
  • Experience teaching Pilates-based exercises for rehabilitation
  • Experience in research and quality improvement initiatives
