Communications and Professional Development Assistant 

Part-time 3 month fixed term contract- flexible

The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is the national, professional body representing over 4,000 Chartered Physiotherapists in Ireland. The Society is the voice of physiotherapy in Ireland. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual to support our Communications and Professional Development teams. This is a flexible, part-time role offering experience across digital communications, member engagement and online professional development activities.

This role may suit a student, recent graduate, or an individual seeking flexible part-time work with an interest in communications, digital marketing and professional development.

The successful candidate will report to the Communications Manager and Head of Professional Development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow the Society's social media presence across our channels
  • Develop and schedule engaging content aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor engagement, audience growth and campaign performance.
  • Produce quarterly social media analytics reports, providing insights, trends and recommendations for improvement.

2. Member Communications

  • Produce and distribute Activate, the weekly member e-zine.
  • Monitor e-zine performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve engagement.

3. General Communications Support

  • Support communications activities relating to publications, website content, member engagement and events.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining digital content across communication channels.

4. Professional Development Administration Support

  • Support the Professional Development team with course and webinar administration.

·        Assist with the delivery of webinars using MS Teams and other online education events.

  • Support participant communications, registrations and post-event administration, as required.

Essential

  • Experience managing and updating social media platforms.
  • ·    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data and present performance insights in a clear and concise manner.

·        Flexibility to occasionally support evening webinars and online education events is required

Desirable

  • Qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, X Analytics etc).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and social media strategy.
  • Experience preparing analytics and performance reports with recommendations for future activity.

                 Remuneration: €14.15 - €17.50 per hour, depending on experience.
