7. Advocacy...we're your voice on issues that matter
The ISCP has played a key role in reinstating the Chief HSCP Officer position within the Department of Health, ensuring that the second-largest workforce in health services is represented at the highest level of departmental leadership. Addressing the recruitment ban embargo is currently our top priority, and we are collaborating closely with the Health and Social Care Professions Alliance on this issue. Additionally, we are concentrating on governance issues within Community Disability Network Teams (CDNT) and primary care. Marie Ó Mír has made significant progress on matters related to ionising radiation with the Department of Health.
